Have you seen...

The new AIDS campaign? It urges volunteers to wear t-shirts with 'I am HIV positive' on them. Of course, they mean that they... have a positive outlook towards HIV.

But be serious for a sec. I was laughing out loud when I finally realized what it is they meant. They'll probably be stoned to death on the streets or mowed over by a truck.

And hey, don't knock this post. This is raising awareness isn't it? :P

Also, first post off mobile. God, that took forever to type...

Actually, I would be PROUD to wear such a tee, if I could get a hand on it...
Having seen the good and the ugly side of being HIV positive from a 3rd person's perspective, and even with all the education, equanimity and like, things are pretty much negative for those chaps in SL, still.
So Improving such attitudes would be a major step forward.
That's my view anyway.

Cool, I'm just saying. It doesn't really get the message across at first.

I believe the article was about a project run by a Sri Lankan in India... Not in Sri Lanka

Oh, sorry about that. Was skipping through it.

Yeah I know that sounds all wrong, but what the hell... I'm an idiot.
